So long 2011...

The first year in the PNW allowed us to meet so many folks with a heart for ministry and missions. A little over $12,000 was raised and pledeged through Stand Up For Missions in just a few shows. Thank you for those that participated. We have April 27, 2012 set for a Young Life fundraiser, but first we return to Hidden Creek in Olympia to raise money and awareness for missionaries in Bosnia. Looking forward to God's plan for 2012. So very exciting!

Thank you!

The last few shows for SUFM just went off1 Between the three events, a total of $12,029 was committed. Not bad for a few shows. On Saturday at Creekside Church in Mountlake Terrace Jason Deuman opened and Sunday @ Hidden Creek Church in Olympia Brett Hollis opened. Both I had never seen before. Both are pastors. Both are hilarious! What an unexpected blessing. Brett, who pastors a church in Kent has committed to exploring the next 31 Shows in 31 Days missions/outreach tour for July 2012!

Use Funny To Raise Money

Hey everyone. If you are interested in hosting a fund raiser give me a shout out. Now that we are located in the pacific northwest most of the dates will be concentrated in the surrounding states. But if we can put three shows on a weekend, we will head anywhere! My email jerry@standupformissions.com

Looking forward to hearing from all of you!

2011 Use us Lord

I am so glad the new year has finally arrived. Now I can contact pastors in our new state of Washington. God paved a way for our family to relocate to Tacoma. I know - a So Cal Boy has to wear a jacket! I appreciate all of the pastors and ministry leaders who used me the past two years. In all, there we commitments of over $80,000 for global missions and local outreach. I am excited about what God has in store for this ministry here in the pacific northwest. Last night we attended Life Center church and the message could not have been more appropriate. Help me. Teach me. Use me. Use me Lord to assist the pastors and ministry leaders in Washington and the surrounding communities to use funny to raise money. It's time to get the word out!
